Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who came to watch me this weekend! Thanks to everyone for the texts, Facebook, and emails as well. My support system is incredible and you guys are what keeps me going! I had a rough start to the weekend- I made only my opening snatch, missing my next 2 attempts. I have never choked in competition like that so I was devastated! But I’m so glad I was able to finish strong, 11th overall in Nor Cal in 2014… And 11th overall in 2013. Consistency is key. I think this years competition work outs were tough and very different from the previous year, and the competitors get better and better each year. Celebrating with pizza tonight, looking forward to a week off, then the road to 2015 begins! #dreamteam

The workout for 5/5 is... Gymnastics Skill: "Kipping" 5-8 min Hollow/Arch Work on the Ground/Kipping work on bar with coach spotting 3x10 Straight Legged Kipping Toes to Bar. Emphasis is NOT on how high your feet go, it's on keeping a tight body position and a quick recoil from each kip.
